Attaching a Collar CompanionTM:
Simply fasten the snaps around a dog’s collar, harness, or leash.
Thats it........just wrap and snap!
Other items a Collar Companion can be attached to include purse strap, back pack, belt, diaper bag, shoes, etc... the possibilities are limitless.
Applying the Daisy’s BlendsTM Essential Oil to the Collar CompanionTM:
Remove the safety seal from the dropper cap.
Using the dropper from the essential oil bottle, place 1 or 2 drops in the center top hole of the Collar Companion where the screen is located. Re-energize the Collar Companion once or twice a week. However, a drop can be added daily if needed for calming, freshening, rejuvenating, or staying active. For deterring insects a drop can be added to the Collar Companion up to two - three times a day.
For small dogs under 15lbs. we recommend that only one drop is used for each application.
In order to keep the “true scent” of the essential oil blends, please use the same Daisy’s Blends essential oil in each Collar Companion.
Introduce the Collar CompanionTM to pets for best results:
It is very important to make the first introduction of the Daisy’s Blends and Collar Companion to your pets a positive one. This will help them to associate everything good with the Collar Companion. We recommend that you pick a nice quite place that both you and your pets enjoy for this introduction.
Allow the pet to watch the bottle being open and put a drop of the Daisy’s Blends into the Collar Companion or Cat Companion.
Talk to them in a calm, soothing, and happy tone through the entire process.
Once they show interest in it the Collar Companion is ready for use. Have them watch you place it on their collar if they are a dog. For cats, place it in a location that they can get to while showing them where it was placed. Avoid placing it on or around a litter box or by their food/water.
